My name is Sharon. I live in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside near Spalding with my family and our three dogs. I also have rescue goats and chickens too. My first dogs were two Tibetan Terriers. They started me on my journey into dog training.

My Story

I started my training journey at a local agility class with one of my dogs and fell in love with the concept of training using positive reinforcement. My boy thrived on it! The more he learned, the more he wanted to keep learning. My other dog was very poorly during his life and in the end was completely blind. Together we worked on ways to help him move around the home with ease and he still loved to go out on walks. I taught him to navigate kerbs and he also learned directional cues. Nothing stopped him living a full life.

I'm currently the proud mum of three Standard Poodles (Phoebe, Winnie and Marnie). Winnie was my first poodle and as they are a very intelligent breed, requiring lots of mental stimulation and exercise, this encouraged me to dive deeper into the world of dog training and behaviour.

My thirst for knowledge has lead me to attending many dog behaviour webinars and workshops across the UK and the USA, covering topics such as; dog reactivity, separation anxiety, interactive play, scent work, life skills for puppies, further learning for adolescent dogs and coping strategies for rescue dogs.

I am also very interested in the link between pain and behaviour and have attended webinars hosted by leading experts in this field.

I am qualified as a Tier 1 trainer with Scentwork UK and have knowledge and personal experience in the dogs sports of Hoopers and Flyball. All of which are fundamental to helping a busy dog live a calm and fulfilled life.

I regularly volunteer at my local Greyhound Rescue by walking the dogs, as well as grooming and giving cuddles!

I pride myself on my continued professional development to bring to clients the most up-to-date scientifically proven training/behaviour knowledge to help them live their best lives with their four legged companions.

Part of helping dogs includes guiding their guardians too! As well as offering group classes, I also work on a 1-2-1 basis with you and your dog in your own home - whether you have a young puppy, an older dog or a rescue.

My methods are based on looking at the whole dog and not just the behaviour.
